Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
You combine mathematics, physics, biology and engineering, with first-year courses in anatomy and physiology, cell biology, microbiology, materials science, biomaterials, biomechanics and the design of biomedical products. Projects tackle problems such as designing artificial heart valves or MRI analysis software, backed by physics, microbiology and imaging labs. Some courses are taught by medical experts at the University Medical Center Groningen, and you can take a minor in Biomaterials Science and Engineering, Medical Device Design or Medical Imaging before a bachelor research project. Most graduates continue to the Biomedical Engineering master, leading to roles in medical device R&D, PhD research, hospitals, certification bodies and start-ups.
What you need
