Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Year one covers audiovisual arts, the role of the arts in culture and the sociology of the arts, and you choose a main discipline of film, music or theatre, with literature or visual arts as a second art form. Later years deepen your art form and its philosophical and theoretical grounding, in seminars, group projects, a theatre project shown in local venues and visits to productions and festivals in Groningen. You choose between Arts Policy and Cultural Entrepreneurship or Analysis and Criticism, and the fifth semester can be a career minor, a pre-master or time abroad. Graduates work in theatre companies, concert halls, museums, publishing and media, or continue to master programmes such as Arts in Society or Film and Contemporary Audiovisual Media.
What you need
- Apply for the English track; a Dutch track also exists.
