Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Year one introduces media studies, media and everyday life, how media past, present and future connect, and theories of audiences and uses, alongside professional writing and academic skills; year two covers representations in media, analysing media texts, production and use, and a research seminar. You choose a profile in Visual Culture, Cultural Industries, Digital Cultures, Journalism Studies, or Politics and Global Citizenship. A minor can be a career minor with an internship, or you can study abroad, and the degree ends with a bachelor thesis. Graduates work as strategy consultants, social media analysts, policy advisors, content producers and PR professionals, or continue to a master such as Journalism.
What you need
- The IB Diploma counts as Dutch VWO; no minimum points. An IB taught in English waives the English test.
