Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Early courses cover concepts of chemistry, organic, inorganic and physical chemistry, biochemistry, spectroscopy and mathematics for chemistry, combining theory with hands-on work in modern laboratories, including synthesis, analysis and biochemistry labs. You can join staff research projects early on and then specialise in Smart Materials, Chemistry of Life, or Sustainable Chemistry and Energy. The programme is tied to the Stratingh Institute for Chemistry and the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials, and a semester abroad is possible. Graduates work as industrial or scientific researchers, managers, in commercial roles or as teachers, or continue to a master such as Chemistry, Biomolecular Sciences or Nanoscience.
