Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
You assemble your own curriculum from more than 20 disciplines across humanities, social sciences and sciences, taking at least one course in each domain in year one. You declare a major in year two, with room for electives, a minor, study abroad or an internship. Classes average about 20 students and rely on discussion, presentations and group work, with continuous assessment rather than single final exams. A personal tutor guides your choices. Year three is advanced coursework and an individual research thesis in your major, and the degree is awarded as a Bachelor of Arts or Science, leading to master's programmes or work.
