Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Mathematics, programming, AI and machine learning, and the use of big data in business sit at the centre. Year one covers calculus, linear algebra, probability and statistics, learning programming from scratch, and opens with a course on real-life data cases. Year two adds machine learning, operations research, econometrics, and options such as HR analytics and an entrepreneurship hackathon. In year three you can do an internship, study abroad, a minor or electives, then take text retrieval and mining, marketing analytics and a thesis based on a data challenge. Ethics runs through the courses, including AI, privacy and cybersecurity, and graduates have direct access to the university's master's in Data Science and Business Analytics.
