Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is

Year one introduces Europe through its history, culture and politics, European integration and democracy, and European identities and cultures, alongside four language courses in a modern language chosen from about twenty, including Danish, German, Polish and Turkish. From year two you choose one of six majors: European Culture, History, East European Studies, Law, Politics or Economics, and take Philosophy of the Humanities. Space is left for programme-related electives, a minor or free electives, an internship and study abroad through Erasmus or global exchange, and the degree ends with a bachelor's thesis. Weekly workload averages around 42 hours.

What you need

  • Full IB Diploma needed (IB courses alone are not accepted); English as an IB exam subject covers the English requirement.
