Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Year one introduces human geography and spatial planning, GIS, urban dynamics with Amsterdam as a case, and research methods, ending with a group project on the Amsterdam region. In year two you carry out a research project in the Netherlands and one abroad with one to two weeks of fieldwork, and choose thematic electives such as migration, development or environmental change. Three specialisations are available: Planning, Human Geography and Global Urbanism. Year three has a thesis based on your own data collection, with free space for a minor, research internship or a semester at one of the partner universities. Fieldwork with external clients builds practical skills.
What you need
- Full IB Diploma needed (IB courses alone are not accepted); English as an IB exam subject covers the English requirement.
