Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
Year one teaches sociological theory, research methodology, statistics, philosophy of social science and the sociology of institutions, with an Amsterdam Research Project in qualitative methods. Year two lets you explore six domains: urban society, race, gender and sexuality, migration and citizenship, globalising cultures, health and society, and education and work, with advanced statistics, theory and qualitative analysis. In year three you have elective space for specialising or a minor, an exchange or internship, and a Bachelor Research Project, an independent study within a group project that produces a thesis. English and bilingual tracks are offered.
What you need
- Maths AA SL/HL or AI HL at grade 4 is highly recommended, not required.
