Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

Both Dutch deadlines fall well before this. How a conditional place pending results is handled is set by each institution; ask yours.

What it is
Year one gives a broad base: programming, logic, data structures and algorithms, web technology, computer organisation, networks, requirements engineering and a Systems Programming Project in which you design and build a computing system. Year two covers operating systems, databases, software design and functional programming, plus three electives such as AI or software engineering. In year three you take a semester-long minor, for example Bioinformatics or Business Analytics and Data Science, then automata, machine learning, ethics and a Bachelor's Project supervised by researchers. Graduates work as software developers, data scientists and IT consultants, or continue to a master's.
