What it is

The first year builds the mathematical base (analysis, algebra, discrete mathematics, logic, statistics) alongside introductory computer science, Unix, two programming courses and physics. Lectures are joined by laboratory and project classes, and later years add elective groups such as semantic web, process mining, programming language theory, constraint and logic programming. The course includes a required internship in semester 6 and a capstone project in semester 7, and a business analysis information systems option is available. It prepares engineers for software development, systems administration, data analysis and the design of PC and mobile systems.
