What it is

After a grounding in mathematical analysis, algebra, differential equations and programming, you study circuit theory, signal processing, electronics and digital techniques, control systems, robotics, mechanics, microprocessor systems, PLC programming, real-time systems and system identification. Work happens in well-equipped laboratories and projects, with a mandatory four-week internship in the second year and a diploma project in semester 7. At master's level the course branches into intelligent automation, robots and autonomous systems, control systems and visual systems. Graduates find work in industrial production, transport, telecommunications, energy and healthcare.
