University of Warsaw - 2027/28 admissions may not begin before this dateDetails
A genuine 2027 date, and one of the few in Poland. Senate resolution 278 of 20 May 2026, which governs 2027/28 admissions, states: "Postępowanie rekrutacyjne rozpoczyna się nie wcześniej niż 2 lutego 2027 r. i trwa nie dłużej niż do dnia 30 września 2027 r." It is an outer bound on the whole university, not the opening of any particular round; the round dates come later, in a Rector's ordinance. Resolution 315 of 24 June 2026 amends only the foreign-qualification recognition clause, so these dates are unchanged.

Some Polish deadlines fall after this — Poznan Medical closes on 20 July. Where one closes earlier, ask the university how it takes IB results that arrive later.

University of Warsaw - 2027/28 admissions must conclude by this dateDetails
The closing half of the same sentence in Senate resolution 278: admissions last "nie dłużej niż do dnia 30 września 2027 r." Like the 2 February opening bound, it is an outer limit on the whole university, not the closing date of any round. Resolution 315 of 24 June 2026 changes only the foreign-qualification recognition clause, not this date. The same day is the deadline for asking a recruitment committee to correct your result after a successful matura appeal.

What it is
The first three years combine lectures, seminars and exercises on the history of psychology, biological foundations of behaviour, developmental psychology, personality, emotion and motivation, social and clinical psychology, cognitive processes, research methods and statistics, diagnostic methods and professional ethics, with an empirical seminar in year three where you design and carry out your own study. After three years you choose a specialisation: Clinical Psychology (neuropsychology or psychotherapy), Business Psychology, Social Research, or a self-designed general route, and years four and five include a master's seminar and specialist classes. Internships are available with faculty support. Graduates work in education and health care, HR and business, social services, the justice system, NGOs, research and private practice.
