What it is
Intensive dance practice, with classical ballet as the main technique and modern, contemporary and folk dance as supplements, is paired with university-level study of dance pedagogy. You learn the methodology and didactics of teaching dance to all age groups, together with dance history and theory, anatomy, psychology and voice education. Graduates are qualified to teach dance in their chosen specialisation in schools and cultural institutions, and can apply for the continuing master's at the same department in Prague, or at other art schools in the Czech Republic and abroad.

What you need
- No grade minimum: a dance technique exam and written test, then teaching demonstrations and interviews; B2 English and a medical certificate are required.

No IB points minimum: auditions, portfolios and talent exams decide. AMU's page lists the IB among foreign diplomas it assesses for a small fee; by Czech law it needs no nostrification.
How places are decided
- Send a CV, cover letter, a teaching video and two written combinations; round 1 (technique, written test) needs 20 of 25, round 2 (demonstrations, interviews) 20 of 25.
