What it is

Over six semesters the first year teaches the basics of photographic representation, the second develops knowledge of photographic genres, and the third is given to the bachelor's thesis. Practical work runs in five studios (classic photography, documentary strategies, imaginative photography, intermedia and a new aesthetic), supported by technical teaching in optics, digital imaging and prepress. Theory courses cover art history, new media and contemporary visual culture. A master's programme in photography is available as the next step.

What you need

  • No grade minimum: a portfolio of 3–6 projects, then an online round with two assignments and an interview; 40 of 80 points admits.
