What it is
You study pedagogy, psychology, biomedicine, sports training and teaching methods relevant to a chosen sport. The first one to two years establish applied sport science and basic athletic skills, which you then apply in specialised courses and practical training in years two and three. You choose one of ten sports: track and field, gymnastics, swimming, football, ice hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, handball or combat sports. Graduates are able to design and carry out training programmes for athletes of all ages and performance levels.
Two ways to take it
| Path | What is different |
|---|---|
| Coach (one sport) | Coaching in one chosen sport, from athletics and swimming to ice hockey and combat sports. |
| Fitness Coach | Fitness and exercise programmes for the general public and athletes, with nutrition and strength training. |
What you need
- Online interview in English on your motivation letter and a short text; send a CV, recommendation, English certificate and sports doctor's note.
