What it is
The first year covers mathematical analysis, linear algebra, discrete mathematics, algorithms, data structures, programming, and computer systems such as networking and Linux. The second year adds graph theory, logic, probability and statistics, automata and grammars, database systems and an individual software project, and the third is given to electives and the thesis. Lectures are paired with recitations, and the emphasis is on the core principles of how systems work. Three tracks are available: general computer science, databases and web, and artificial intelligence. Graduates can start work or go on to a master's.
