What it is
The first year covers linear algebra, calculus, programming and digital skills, then differential equations, numerical methods, mechanics and probability, and later functional analysis, optimisation, game theory, stochastic calculus and mathematical biology. In the final year you choose among many electives, such as machine learning, cryptography, financial mathematics, biophysics, quantum physics and robotics, and write a bachelor thesis. Teaching is in English, internships are available and Erasmus exchanges are possible. Graduates enter technology and software companies, financial institutions, AI, aerospace, research centres, biotechnology and data consulting.
What you need
- IB via UNEDasiss: your IB becomes a grade out of 10, and two weighted subjects (IB grades on the credential or PCE tests) add up to 4. Prove B2 English during year 1.
