What it is
One continuous degree leads straight to a master's-level qualification, mixing creative and technical training. You practise freehand drawing, visualisation and modelling, work in design studios on housing, public buildings, workplaces and urban design, and study mathematics, statics, structures, building construction, building services, CAAD and BIM, along with architectural history and heritage preservation. From the fourth year you can specialise in Real Estate Development, Sustainable Architecture or Urban Design. A diploma design project and a practice placement finish the course. Graduates enter architectural practice or continue to doctoral study.
What you need
- No IB points rule: the Diploma counts as your school-leaving certificate and an English-medium school certificate can replace an English test. Entry turns on BME's own online tests.
