What it is
Aviation is studied on an engineering base of mathematics, physics, programming, electronics, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics. Aeronautical subjects include the principles of flight, airframes and systems, powerplants, human performance and control systems, followed by navigation, meteorology, flight planning and operations. Flight training runs alongside the theory, ending with multi-crew cooperation training in an Airbus A320 environment, and a thesis is part of the degree. Graduates can hold a commercial pilot licence with a multi-engine instrument rating and go on to first officer or cadet positions with airlines in countries where EASA certificates apply.
What you need
- Class 1 EASA medical certificate needed by the end of the first semester, at your own cost; apply with a general medical check.
