What it is
The degree opens with mathematics and physics (linear algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, statics and dynamics), then adds the basics of mobility, project work and economics. From there you specialise in one transport area: automotive, vehicle mechatronics, rail vehicles, aircraft, vessels or manufacturing. A thesis project closes the seven semesters. The training covers design, production, testing, maintenance, repair and recycling of transport equipment and vehicle systems. Graduates take up junior engineering tasks in the vehicle industry or continue to a vehicle engineering master's.
What you need
- No IB points rule: the Diploma counts as your school-leaving certificate and an English-medium school certificate can replace an English test. Entry turns on BME's own online tests.
