Corvinus - final diplomas, certificates and proof of English dueHard deadlineDetails
Published as "1 August" with no year, twice: the application-information page lists "Step 8 Submit final diplomas and certificates by 1 August", and the admissions-requirements page says Corvinus "accepts the following proof of English language proficiency (minimum equivalent B2 level) submitted no later than 1 August". This site assumes the 2027 intake. Comfortable for an IB candidate - the diploma is issued in early July - but it is the last gate before enrolment, and an offer is conditional on it.

What it is
The first year covers introductory economics, empirical methods, calculus, linear algebra and probability, plus business basics and a project. Year two moves to macro and microeconomic theory, accounting, international economics, two econometrics courses, game theory and AI in business. In year three you study corporate finance, public economics, industrial organisation and the history of economic thought while preparing a thesis. Mathematics is taught as a practical tool, and individual and group assignments build presentation skills. Many students go on to a master's; graduates also work as macroeconomic, market or financial analysts and actuaries in companies, banks, insurers and consultancies.
What you need
- IB Maths SL 5 or HL 4 replaces the Corvinus maths exam; without it you sit the online 60-minute maths exam.
