What it is
You study international politics, security, EU politics, ethnic conflict, global justice and human rights, on a base of sociology, law and economics. The first year is made up of introductory courses, after which a wide range of elective seminars lets you shape your own path. Graduates work as foreign policy analysts, lobbyists, project coordinators or political advisers in public administration, NGOs, financial and commercial institutions and private firms, or they continue to a master's in international relations or another social science.
What you need
- The IB Diploma counts as your secondary certificate (ELTE wants it equivalent to the Hungarian matriculation). English B2, or an English-medium school certificate; economics degrees encourage IB results.
