What it is
After a first stage in mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science, you move into automation and control, materials, production systems management and information engineering, then model identification, data analysis, digital twins and process simulation, with sustainable and circular engineering throughout. Teaching mixes lectures, labs, group projects and work with industrial partners, and electives tailor the final year. A capstone project, which can be an internship, project work or a collaboration with industry or research, completes the degree. Graduates work in production, process design, automation and quality in chemical, pharmaceutical, energy and food firms, or go on to a master's.
