What it is
The first year covers marketing and business basics, finance, logistics processes, supply chain management, leadership and change management, and sustainability and ethics. You carry out company projects every semester, complete two internships, hear guest lectures from professionals and visit logistics sites, in small classes with coaching in teamwork and leadership. The first year is shared with Logistics Engineering, International Business, Finance & Control and Marketing Management, so you can switch without delay. Venlo is one of the major logistics hotspots in Europe. Graduates work as supply chain, logistics, operations or warehouse managers, sustainability advisors or distribution planners.

- No subjects required beyond the IB Diploma.
Requirements in full
Every IB applicant at Fontys
The IB Diploma is named as giving access. Many programmes also want satisfactory maths grades, engineering also physics or chemistry, with no IB grade set. An IB Diploma usually exempts you from an English test.
How places are decided
- Not selective: meet the requirements and you are admitted. Apply in Studielink by 1 May 2027; a study choice check talk is optional.
