Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is

You study visual communication and design, communication and media theory, crisis and reputation management, PR and marketing, public affairs, media writing and event organisation. Teaching is project-based with real clients: you design campaigns, create corporate identities and websites, and produce live talk shows, trying every production role from host to camera operator, using the Mediadesk and Medialab. Year three brings an internship abroad or an exchange semester, and you can take a minor in Language and Communication, Business and Economics, or Science and Engineering. Graduates work as PR advisors, communications coordinators, brand identity consultants, event managers or social media strategists, or continue to a master such as International Communication.

What you need

  • The IB Diploma meets the HAVO-level entry for 4-year programmes and counts as VWO-level for the 3-year ones. It also exempts you from the English test.
