Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
The first year covers analysis, calculus, linear algebra, linear systems, probability, graph theory, mechanics and relativity for mathematicians, and scientific programming, shared with the Mathematics degree so you can still switch. You learn to formulate and analyse abstract models of real systems, for example simulating the dynamics of a bicycle with numerical methods and code, and complete a research project in the final year. In years two and three you specialise in Numerical Mathematics or Systems, Control and Optimization, and an optional study period abroad is available. Graduates go on to the Applied Mathematics master, research and PhD positions, research institutes, consulting, finance and industry, or teaching.
