Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
The shared first year covers analysis, linear algebra, sets and numbers, probability, graph theory, linear systems, mechanics and relativity for mathematicians, and scientific programming, so you can still switch to Applied Mathematics. Later years add statistics, group theory, partial differential equations, complex analysis, functional analysis and numerical mathematics, with flexible electives in algebra, topology, probability and dynamical systems. You complete a first-year project, a research project and a bachelor thesis, and a double degree with Physics is possible. The degree leads to the Mathematics master and to work as a researcher, consultant, analyst or teacher, with employers such as Shell, Philips and ABN Amro.
