Not an official deadline. With a Dutch address you log in with DigiD, which the government says takes about five days. Without one you upload a scan or photo of your passport or EU identity card and Studielink verifies it automatically. Either way, do it well before 15 January.

What it is
The first year introduces European language and society, European culture and literature, and European politics and society, together with progressive language training in your major language: German, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Spanish or Swedish. Language units are intensive and usually in small groups, and from year two you follow one of three profiles: European Language and Society, European Culture and Literature, or European Politics and Society. Year three includes a minor, which can be a work placement, research or teacher training, or study abroad, and a bachelor thesis. Graduates work as policy officers, communications consultants, journalists, teachers or translators, or continue to a master such as Euroculture.
What you need
- German major needs B1–B2 (school-leaving German, EU, under 2 years old); French needs A2 proof; Spanish Plus A2, else Spanish basic; Italian, Russian, Swedish, Dutch from zero.
