Deadlines

Not published yet2026: register 9 June–9 July; IB results by 14 July
  1. 2 February 2027

University of Warsaw - 2027/28 admissions may not begin before this date
    Details

A genuine 2027 date, and one of the few in Poland. Senate resolution 278 of 20 May 2026, which governs 2027/28 admissions, states: "Postępowanie rekrutacyjne rozpoczyna się nie wcześniej niż 2 lutego 2027 r. i trwa nie dłużej niż do dnia 30 września 2027 r." It is an outer bound on the whole university, not the opening of any particular round; the round dates come later, in a Rector's ordinance. Resolution 315 of 24 June 2026 amends only the foreign-qualification recognition clause, so these dates are unchanged.

    Details

Some Polish deadlines fall after this — Poznan Medical closes on 20 July. Where one closes earlier, ask the university how it takes IB results that arrive later.

  3. 30 September 2027

University of Warsaw - 2027/28 admissions must conclude by this date
    Details

The closing half of the same sentence in Senate resolution 278: admissions last "nie dłużej niż do dnia 30 września 2027 r." Like the 2 February opening bound, it is an outer limit on the whole university, not the closing date of any round. Resolution 315 of 24 June 2026 changes only the foreign-qualification recognition clause, not this date. The same day is the deadline for asking a recruitment committee to correct your result after a successful matura appeal.

What it is

Run jointly by the faculties of political science and economics, the programme looks at European integration through EU institutions and competences, international economics, trade, currency and economic integration, the internal market, EU law and the successive stages of integration. Teaching is workshop-style, with seminars, simulations of EU institutions, Oxford-style debates and round tables, and analysis of trade databases. Graduates are prepared for public administration, EU institutions and international organisations, business and lobbying firms, NGOs, and media and cultural institutions.
