What it is
The first three years build a common base in anatomy, cell biology, pathology, pathophysiology, immunology and biostatistics, with bioethics, psychology and nursing courses for patient communication, and contact with patients from the start. Years four to six move into hospital block rotations at the Motol and Homolka hospitals, where you manage real cases in clinical teams, with simulation and optional internships in Czech or foreign hospitals. The degree ends with state exams in public health, internal medicine, surgery, gynaecology and obstetrics, and paediatrics, and leads to residency, research or healthcare leadership.
