What it is
Studied at the Savaria University Center in Szombathely, the course covers applied solid and fluid mechanics, computer-aided design and engineering, and finite element analysis, with production and manufacturing technology including Industry 4.0. Theory is paired with work in laboratories for materials science, production technology and control, which hold tensile testers, CNC machines and electron microscopes, and in computer labs running Ansys, Solid Edge, Inventor, ADAMS and Matlab. Graduates become design, production, automation or simulation engineers in manufacturing, vehicle production and research.
What you need
- The IB Diploma counts as your secondary certificate (ELTE wants it equivalent to the Hungarian matriculation). English B2, or an English-medium school certificate; economics degrees encourage IB results.
