What it is
You study the education system, modern learning theories, research methods, psychology, history, philosophy and sociology of education, educational policy and digital education. Equal opportunities (inclusion, child protection, educational rights) and self-awareness and skills training are part of the core. The first four semesters give foundations and the last two focus on the Digital Education specialisation, covering educational technology and online learning management. Internships and projects take place in a range of educational institutions. Graduates work as educational developers, e-curriculum developers, digital educational assistants, project assistants and programme coordinators.
What you need
- The IB Diploma counts as your secondary certificate (ELTE wants it equivalent to the Hungarian matriculation). English B2, or an English-medium school certificate; economics degrees encourage IB results.

- Motivation letter and school records, then an oral entrance exam in English. 2026 criteria; 2027 dates not yet published.
