A performer's degree with choir conducting as the main subject: preparing and performing works in many styles as a soloist or in ensembles, with music history and theory.
Choir conducting is the main subject, together with choir score reading, choir singing, vocal performance, choral arrangement, choral conducting theory and piano for choir conductors. The history of Lithuanian and European choral music broadens the picture. Professional practice has two routes, conducting a children's choir or a church choir, the latter with organ, liturgy and Gregorian chant, and the degree ends with a final art project.
