A performer's degree with piano as the main subject: preparing and performing works in many styles as a soloist or in ensembles, with music history and theory.
Your principal instrument, the piano, is studied in every semester, supported by piano accompaniment, sight-reading, piano ensemble and chamber ensemble. Alongside it run ear training and music theory (or harmony, polyphony and analysis), the language of music from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century, the history of piano art and of Lithuanian music and culture. Professional practice builds experience, and the degree ends with a final art project, a piano accompaniment project and a chamber ensemble project, each defended in public.
