English Studies with Additional Language

Practical English and grammar, pronunciation, phonetics and phonology, academic writing and American and British literature and civilisation are taught alongside 540 hours of a second language chosen from Chinese, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. Classes include reading seminars, computer-assisted translation practice, an interpretation lab for the translation track and teaching internships for future English teachers. In the second year you choose a track: teaching English as a foreign language, media and creative industries, business environment, or Polish-English translation following EU guidelines. Graduates work as teachers, translators, interpreters, translation managers, journalists, PR professionals, diplomatic staff and tourism specialists.
