What it is
You study social psychology, the biological foundations of behaviour, emotion and motivation, developmental, personality and cognitive psychology, psychopathology, individual differences and psychometrics, with attention to cognition, social dynamics and cultural influences. The course links theory and practice, with at least one project-based course each year for solving real problems or doing group research, alongside training in professional interpersonal skills. Clinical and health psychology are among the areas you can focus on. Graduates work as psychotherapists, researchers, developmental, business, market research or sports psychologists and human-computer interaction specialists, and master's options include Applied Social Psychology and Clinical Psychology.
Taught on four campuses
