What it is
Study begins with social psychology, the biological foundations of behaviour, emotion and motivation, developmental, personality and cognitive psychology, psychopathology, individual differences and psychometrics, and extends to social and cultural dynamics and applications in education, work and healthcare. Hands-on skills are developed in professional laboratories for behavioural research under the supervision of lecturers. The curriculum touches social, clinical and health, economic, criminal and environmental psychology. Graduates work as psychotherapists, researchers, developmental, occupational, market research or sports psychologists and HCI specialists, and the degree prepares for master's study in clinical or applied social psychology.
Taught on four campuses
