Five-year MDDr. degree in Plzeň; years three to five are devoted to clinical dentistry, preparing you for general practice or specialisation.

The first two years concentrate on theoretical disciplines such as anatomy, histology, biochemistry and physiology together with pre-clinical dentistry, and years three to five are entirely clinical practice in stomatology, covering diagnosis and treatment. Bedside teaching begins in the first year, and each year is split into winter and summer semesters with exam periods. Teaching is in English at the faculty in Pilsen. Graduates receive the MDDr. degree at a ceremony in Prague, and the qualification is widely recognised internationally.

Charles accepts an IB Diploma automatically, with no assessment fee. Each faculty runs its own selection; a few faculty pages still list a recognition fee for foreign diplomas, so ask.
