What it is

You study biblical studies, with New Testament Greek and ancient Hebrew to read key texts in the original languages, along with the history of European Christianity, church history, dogmatics and systematic theology, theological ethics, philosophy, world religions, practical theology and ecumenical questions. The faculty teaches in small, discussion-based groups in central Prague, with a major theological library at hand, and offers international projects such as partner visits abroad and archaeological excavations. Graduates move on to academic research and further study, or work in religious service, education, culture and social work.

What you need

  • An oral exam: discuss your motivation and two books you choose from the reading list; 45 of 70 points admits you.
