What it is
The core combines practical English and grammar, pronunciation, phonetics and phonology, academic writing, American and British literature and civilisation, with linguistics and critical thinking. Training includes tools for computer-assisted translation, a simultaneous interpretation lab for the translation track and teaching internships on the TEFL track. You pick a track: Teaching English as a Foreign Language, English Studies for Media and Creative Industries, English Studies for Business Environment, or Translation Studies (Polish and English). Graduates work as teachers, translators, interpreters, corporate specialists, journalists, PR professionals, diplomats and in tourism.
What you need
- No entrance exam and no NAWA statement for an IB Diploma: send it with proof of B2 English (an IB taken in English counts). Design adds a portfolio interview.
