What it is

A wide-open curriculum with few compulsory courses centres on philosophy, history, and cultural and social anthropology, with further choices in sociology, psychology, gender studies and art, and a focus on European philosophy, Central European history and the theories and methods of the social sciences. Seminar groups in English build communication skills in a multicultural setting, and you gradually focus on fields of your choice through electives. Graduates work as copywriters, event managers, journalists, media analysts, nonprofit workers and public opinion analysts, or continue to postgraduate study in the humanities and social sciences.

What you need

  • Admission rests on the online Scio GAP reasoning test; the faculty pays for one sitting. The IB counts as proof of schooling with no assessment.
